Why We Don’t Offer Refunds at SMOOTHED (And What We Do Instead)

At SMOOTHED, we’re not just confident in our results—we guarantee them. That’s why we offer a “Better Hair in 90 Days or Your Money Back” guarantee for new clients. Because of this, we don’t issue traditional refunds for our keratin services.

Here’s why:

Our treatments are highly customized. We carry 10–20 different brands of keratin and tailor each treatment based on your hair’s history, texture, and goals. Sometimes, especially with damaged or color-treated hair, it can take more than one appointment to fully dial it in. That’s why our guarantee requires two treatments within 90 days—because real transformation takes a little consistency.

If you’re ever unsatisfied with your results, we will always invite you back in to retreat your hair at no charge. We genuinely want to make it right, and we know that most issues are fixable when we get the chance to adjust the formula.

However, it’s important to know that:

If you choose to come back in for a retreatment, that

nullifies

your eligibility for a refund.

You can’t receive both. It’s either:

  • Let us retreat your hair and get it right
    or

  • Complete two full treatments within 90 days and request a refund only after a final photo assessment shows no improvement

This policy exists to protect both your experience and our integrity as a results-driven business. We want to give you manageable, beautiful hair—but we can’t do that without seeing it through.
