Type 1 & 2
Straight to Wavy
Type 1 and 2 is about pattern, not thickness — strands can be fine and sparse or coarse and dense. What they share is little to no natural wave.
Frizz and dryness, and being stuck in between: not wavy enough to wear out as-is, too frizzy to skip the heat. So you reach for heat, and the heat does its own damage.
Type 3 & 4
Curly to Coily
Curl through coil, at any density. Most Type 3 and 4 clients come to us frustrated — not with their pattern, but with how much work it takes to get it to define at all.
