My hair is amazing 🥹🥹🥹 Taylor did my keratin treatment on 04/09, she performed a miracle on my haircut cause I had some breakage in the front from something I did, it was sooooo smooth and silky after the treatment it felt like butter, I have curly frizzy type 3 colored hair with shrinkage. I just knew once I went to sleep and woke up my hair would be frizzy 😂😂😂nope, slept with an extra large satin bonnet on I didn’t even clip it up or wrap it, woke up this morning took the bonnet off and it looks as good as yesterday morning!! I’ll follow up once I do my first wash, Thank you Taylor 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 see you in June

I had the most fantastic experience with Taylor at Smoothed! I was feeling so frustrated with my hair and my curls, after seeing a few videos online I couldn’t resist and booked on a whim. I’m so glad I did and my hair is the most beautiful it’s ever looked. It’s so soft and shiny and I’m so happy. Taylor added in a trim as well to suit my new hair and I just couldn’t be happier with the service. Taylor is so kind, patiently explained the process to me as well as what to expect and we had great conversation as well. So looking forward to how my curls will look from now on! ❤️

I knew after watching the first few videos on TikTok that I had to make an appointment and fly out, and I was not disappointed!! The treatment has already provided great results! Taylor took her time and did an amazing job making sure she tailored everything just right for my hair! She’s also just really sweet and welcoming. I have found my forever salon!

I’m a week post my keratin treatment and my hair feels so healthy, smooth, and it’s simply so easy to brush through, where as to before my hair would get tangled when the wind would slightly touch it. This has made my hair easier to manage. You can just tell Kaylie has a lot of knowledge with Keratin. You can’t go wrong with any of the stylist there as they have all learned from the owner and it shows.

I’ve had so many bad hair salon experiences but Kaylie is one of a kind! She clearly loves her craft and takes really great care of your hair! If you’ve been thinking about getting this treatment just do it!

I’ve been meaning to write this review since my very first appointment, because honestly… this salon deserves every bit of praise. If you’re the girl (or guy!) with naturally curly hair that can feel unmanageable, unpredictable, or just in need of some real love and you want a place that honors your curls instead of trying to change them — this is it. This is your place. I have 3B/3C/4a curls, and for years I felt like most salons didn’t really understand how to work with them. Either my curls would get blown out, weighed down, or completely lost in the process. But here? It’s the opposite. They don’t take your curls away they bring them back to life. They make them more manageable, more refreshed, more you, while still letting your natural curl pattern shine beautifully. I’ve been seeing Taylor since the very beginning, and she is absolutely phenomenal. Truly gifted. Not only does she know curls inside and out, but she listens, she explains, she teaches, and she genuinely cares about how you feel when you walk out the door. After three visits, I can confidently say I would never dream of going anywhere else. Every time I leave her chair, I feel lighter, more put-together, and honestly… more like myself. And the salon as a whole? Incredible. The owner is amazing the kind of person who genuinely loves her clients and pours her heart into the space. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and kind. There’s no judgment, no rush, no pressure. Just a truly supportive, uplifting environment that makes you feel taken care of. As a new mom, having hair that feels manageable and beautiful again has been such a gift. Being able to wear it down confidently, without spending forever trying to make it look decent, has honestly been one of the highlights of my year. It sounds dramatic, but it’s been life-changing — feeling like me again through something as simple as loving my hair. If you’re looking for a salon that respects your curls, understands your texture, and wants to enhance your natural beauty instead of altering it, this is the one. I can’t recommend it enough.

Taylor smoothed my hair for me and I love it! It’s been 3 months since treatment and it still looks great. I will be returning soon for a refresh. She also gave me a haircut that shaped my long layers and perfectly framed my face. She’s really easy to talk to and a sweetheart. The salon is beautiful and relaxing. Easy to find parking. Great area of North Park, grab lunch and do a little shopping after the salon to show off your locks and have a “me” day:)

I moved here from NYC this year and needed someone I could really trust with my hair (super fine, prone to damage, and extremely frizzy). I’ve now had two keratin treatments with Kaylie, and she is absolutely incredible—so knowledgeable, passionate, and committed to helping clients achieve their dream hair. I had the most amazing experience getting a keratin treatment at Smoothed Salon! From the moment I walked in, Genevieve made me feel so welcomed, and the other ladies were just as warm and friendly. The salon itself is absolutely beautiful! It’s bright, airy, and filled with plants that make the space feel so fresh and calming. I’ve had Brazilian blowouts before that were full of harsh chemicals and left me feeling awful, but this was a completely different and gentle. I left feeling not only relaxed but completely refreshed, and my hair has never looked better. Highly recommend!

i rarely write reviews but I want to encourage others to visit Smoothed. I went in yesterday and had keratin treatment by Taylor. She took the time to consult me about my hair and style and all the things needed to make a good decision on what products to use. I love the outcome! My hait is smoothed as advertised and I couldn’t be happier with the services and the people . The owner also was there she is also very warm , real and welcoming . It was a great experience! Taylor is amazing!! I’ve been going to see her for about a year now, my hair is so strong and shiny. The salon is beautiful, the stylists are all really nice, and my hair is salon beautiful for months after leaving.

I had a wonderful first experience with Smoothed Salon! It’s a beautiful space and Taylor, my stylist did an incredible keratin smoothing treatment and cut. She took the time to consult with me and learn my hair and I’m thrilled with the results and will be back to see her as soon as I get to visit the area again. The staff were quick to respond and accommodate my last minute appointment request and the owner Kaylie was friendly and welcoming. The stylists here are really kind, talented, and committed to a toxin free treatment with great results and my curly hair is smooth, soft and happy!

This is the ONLY place to go for Brazilian Keratin treatments-dozens of options and each stylist is well-versed in what will work best for your hair. I have had many treatments elsewhere and the results simply do not compare to this fabulous establishment 😊

I’ve been coming to this salon for 8 years, and Kaylie has truly changed my life—and my hair. Great experience at this cozy, warm salon! Jay did an amazing keratin treatment to deal with the frizziness of my hair. He was an absolute joy, did a great job with my hair— and even gave me a few makeup tips as well!
