How we met
I was already looking before the law made me
For ten years I worked with the products the industry handed me. They performed. But I always wanted a cleaner treatment — I just never found one that actually held, actually smoothed, actually did the job on real hair in a real salon.
Then in 2025 California’s Toxic-Free Cosmetics Act came into force, and formaldehyde and methylene glycol were no longer legal in cosmetics sold here. If I wanted to keep specializing in keratin, I had to pivot the whole business. So I went looking properly — and I found Keratin Revolution, a UK brand held to a standard I’d been quietly wishing for.
The feedback from my clients was insane, immediately.
I didn’t have to sell it. They felt the difference in the chair — no fumes, no burning eyes, no three days of waiting to wash. And the results held. That was the part I’d never been able to find anywhere else.
